Well i must say, i do like that pipe. Imo it came out just fine. One question though, where do you guys keep getting these stems with gold, silver or dimond dots on them???
Re: Last of the Pimo Briar-4
Drilled a 1/16 or so hole and epoxy wood/plastic into the stem.

Re: Last of the Pimo Briar-4
Thats it? You drill a tiny hole only "so" deep into the stem and then just fill it with some kind of gold or silver filling?
what about the ones with the diamonds?
Thank you for the info!

Re: Last of the Pimo Briar-4
Not bad for a 4th pipe. A couple things I see that could be improved: 1) cant your bowl/tobacco chamber a couple degrees away from the bit. You shouldn't have a 90 degree angle here because it give the illusion that the bowl is pointing towards the smoker. 2) The shank bowl junction is cut a bit too sharp/too defined. It makes it look like the shank and bowl are two seperate parts and disrupts the visual flow of the piece. This area of the pipe is where many struggle. There is a sweet spot in the shaping of this area and with experience you learn to know it instinctively when you get there.
