I asked a local carver and friend of mine here in PNG to make a pipe tamper with a croc (big part of the culture here) tail for the pick end. This is what he came up with. Considering it is made of ebony and he only used a knife I think it turned out pretty cool. Thought you guys might like to see...

Why do you tempt us so with these awesome tampers that we CAN'T buy?! ;)

That is pretty awesome. I'm originally from LA so that's a tail I know quite well.
