sitter variation

Post by cmueller »

The photos are not the best, but I wanted to share my newest pipe (#11 and counting). It’s a variation of a sitter and a shape I have been thinking of for awhile. The stem is pre-molded, with a blood wood and acrylic insert. I had a lot of trouble with the stem-mortis junction, however, my work is getting better-I hope. Any criticism is appreciated.

Salvador Dalí called... he wants his pipe back. Joke aside, if you were going for a melted clock inspired pipe, I personally think you nailed it. Not my bowl of latakia, but I can appreciate it for what it is. Nice pipe

I'm not crazy about the design but your execution, fit, and finish are well done.

Very good finishing job. I think that the "base", is very big. I do not know how you hold this pipe in your hands.
