So, how's this for a calabash system?
The smoke travels into the lens barrel sidecar, and the lens focuses on the swirling smoke. The lenses can be removed for cleaning.
The stummel is made from padauk, with an african blackwood bowl insert. cannary wood is used for the bowl ring accent, and the stem. Verawood is used for the accent on the side of the pipe. There is some blue coral on the end.

Not my cup of tea at all, but your creativity and talent never ceases to amaze me. I really want to know how that lens chamber looks with smoke inside of it.
Re: Sidecar lens calabash.... I think...
I love your pipes. Just sayin'.
Re: Sidecar lens calabash.... I think...
You are absolutely completely totally without a doubt insane.
And your pipes are too.
In my world, that is one of the highest compliments.
Please dont let the authorities discover your symptoms.
We might never see you again.

"but rev, isn't smoking a sin?"
well I suppose if one were to smoke to excess it would be a sin

I have never taken the time to take a look at your website. Your work is stunning....
How the hell do you come up with this stuff??? If I tried something like this I would end up with the equivalent of a hand drawn stick figure with uneven legs...You, my friend, are a genius.

Am I Calamity Jane or Annie Oakley??...depends on the day.

Ridiculously awesome as always. I am perpetually impressed by your work.
The way to make people want to smoke your pipes is to develop a reputation for excellence in your work. This takes a lot of hard work and several years to accomplish, and there are no short cuts. You just have to keep at it. - Rad Davis
