Pipe #9

Post by brurobas »

Good afternoon,

With a gorgeous 18 month little boy running around the house it is not possible for me to dedicate myself to this fabulous world of pipe making as much as i could desire. Although i don't make as much pipes as i wanted i read and watch videos about pipe making all day long.

Here is a Pipe i finished yesterday.

I am learning a lot and each new pipe i make is a world of discoveries.

I would really like to know what you think.

Regards!

I really like the way you kept the natural briar hair on the top of the bowl.

But a nice pipe. Good grain. I think I might have tried using a darker contrast stain to really make it pop.

I don't know enough about form to comment, but hopefully one of the pro's will leave their feedback.

Good job.

I was looking at this again, and I think I would have knocked that chin off and turned it into a full blown zulu/woodstock shape.
