a group project? Somthing that a number of folks could take part in, and perhaps we could even ebay the pipe and give the procedes to a worthy charity? Kind of like the Danish makers did a while back. Todd, Tyler, Trever, your participation would really boost the project.

I am not familiar with the Danish maker's charity auction. When was it ? and who was involved?

They made the pipe at Tom Eltang's recent party. Something like 30 makers were involved in the process that resulted in a gorgeous horn. They are auctioning it off, and the proceeds are to fund a website for the makers to use for discussion, among other things. In other words, Tom is going to make a site like this one that is for Danish makers. I think the pipe will fetch a bit more than I have spent on this site, so perhaps he has more up his sleeve. :wink:
