Blasted Bulldog

Post by scotties22 »

So, let's start by saying that I love my sandblaster.....I'm finding all kinds of excuses to use it!!!

Just finished this up a bit ago. Don't pay attention to the button....I'm saving finishing that up for when I go to George's for a visit this week :D

I got a little carried away in a few spots.....gonna have to stop being so agressive when I blast.

I'll take some better pictures when I get the button all taken care of.

Critiques and comments welcome.

Since you're going to work on the button anyway, I suggest you take some more meat off the stem taper. Knock off that high spot and start the taper faster. Other than the shaping distortions from the blast I think you did well.

Yeah, I left the taper a little high on the top until I get the botton taken care of. I think it looks like it has a high spot because the shank/stem are diamond on top and oval on the bottom. I think theres a bit of an obsticle allusion (yeah, spelled it wrong on purpose) going on.
