Re: Billard
You are a pipe factory.Stem shank junction appears to go above the line, could be my computer.A little long also. You do a very nice job at the bowl shank junction.A great pipe however. You are a talented man.
Re: Billard
Beautiful pipe. But a long-shanked apple.
Optical illusion (?) that it's bigger around at the stem/shank juncture (measuring the screen image with dial calipres here indicates you're fine, but it looks wrong).

Re: Billard
Gosh, Ryan, there's so much wrong with this pipe I don't know where to start. If you'd do a little search into the archives here before posting your newbie pipes you wouldn't waste as much of our time.

Nice pipe, but taint a billiard.

I think I always try to make it too complicated. I guess I need to turn a perfect cylinder and just hair of taper at the top ? There is something I am missing here.

Re: Billard
Ryan, the bowl is just too short. Stretch the bowl about 1/4" or so, and it will be a billiard. Right now it's a classic straight apple.Alden wrote:Yak wrote:Beautiful pipe. But a long-shanked apple.I suspected as much... Damn you Billiards !!!RadDavis wrote:Nice pipe, but taint a billiard.
