East Coast
East Coast
Is there any interest in setting up an east coast meet up? I can see the improvements by those who attended the west coast meet up and I would like to improve as well. Emails, Picts, and critiques can only do so much and maybe there are others who are interested.

I'd be up for it, depending on location and how many people

Re: East Coast
we could make it a Northeast meetup and meet at my place in Southern VT (Dorset) which is about 15 minutes from the NY border, and about 1 hr from the Mass border

Meeting at Steve's sounds perfect.

Re: East Coast
I haven't gone public with it yet, but I'm planning a pig roast on August 17th. We'll have a stage setup all day and night for bluegrass (bring an instrument if you play, or borrow ones thats here), the pig farmer is bringing the big cooker for a 200+ pound pig, fireworks at 9:30. There will be lots of families until the fireworks, then probably just partiers after that. Ages 1-101. There's tons of places to camp on our estate, or tons of B&B's nearby. There will be a bunch of people flying in too, so if anyone needs a ride from Albany airport, it can be scheduled.
We could meet earlier in the day and then party into the night.
Regardless if we hold a meetup at this time, you are all still invited. I'll eventually make a thread about it.
Your thoughts about having a meetup the same day?
Vermont is gorgeous in August, and we are located on a huge private estate with no sight of neighbors. It'll be a party not to miss.

Wow. This almost sounds worth driving the family out there. If only you didn't live so far away!

Re: East Coast
good day to call in sick
sorry for hijacking the thread, I'll start a new one for a Northeast meetup on Aug. 17th.
If anyone wants to chime in for other eastern or southeastern meetups, lets hear it!
