Well, it's nice that they are branching out and not just interviewing pipe makers.

It's a good thing you're a thousand miles away, Sas.Sasquatch wrote:Well, it's nice that they are branching out and not just interviewing pipe makers.
You might have size and strength, but she's got speed and dirty tricks.
EDIT:
Holy crap. Somehow I got Scottie's interview with Brian in my head, not D'Huber's, then commented accordingly.
I must smoke too much tobacco, or something.
Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks everyone!
They're really scraping the bottom of the barrel with me. They tried to get an interview with my neighbor's teenage daughter first, but since I was standing right there, they figured, hey, what the hell.Sasquatch wrote:Well, it's nice that they are branching out and not just interviewing pipe makers.

A sentence intended to convey an occurrence so unlikely as to be laughable, yes?d.huber wrote: They tried to get an interview with my neighbor's teenage daughter first...
Well, check this out ---
The last year I was in Bowman, ND, the teenage daughter of Rose and Dana Wolf---my next door neighbors---had her high school yearbook photo result in a modeling contract. (I was a friend of the family, and I even helped them decide on some of the provisions).
And shortly after the deal was done, one afternoon I answered a knock on my door to find a reporter from the tiny Bowman newspaper---who was trying to get an interview with the daughter---wondering if I knew where they went or when they might be back.
She has since hit the big time, btw:

David, I listened to the show. Congrats! You did a great job and it made me go back to your site and check out your pipes again. You have some very nice pipes too. The Crescent Moon, Edwin’s Egg,and Comet are my personal favorites. How in the heck did you get that Askwith collaboration white? That's an awesome pipe as well.

It'll all end in tears... Or a mysterious homicide that stays unsolved until he pisses off someone important.

She's cute though. Do you know when she'll be home ? Brian Levine wants to interview her for the radio show.

Too likely, given the lifestyles and ego-driven behavior of such people. I didn't feel good at the time about her just going to Florida by herself for some early work. Sweet kid.Alden wrote: It'll all end in tears... Or a mysterious homicide that stays unsolved until he pisses off someone important.
-- Yes, indeed she is. Up close, her eyes are incredible. She's cute though. Do you know when she'll be home ? Brian Levine wants to interview her for the radio show.
-- No idea. She left Bowman a couple years ago and is now living in CA, I think.
-- Duh. Bryan might be old enough to be her father, but he ain't dead.

Thanks Bob! You'd have to ask Chris about the white finish but I dunno if he's at liberty to share.BobR wrote:David, I listened to the show. Congrats! George, that IS pretty funny! Good for her too.
Re: Interview on Pipes Magazine Radio
Just listened to this. You come off much more well spoken and charismatic on the radio. Too bad you're not like that at all in person!

Bryan had Bonnie sit beside him with a knuckle-rapper in one hand (to keep him polite), and a stun gun in the other (in case he got truly rowdy).Ocelot55 wrote:Just listened to this. You come off much more well spoken and charismatic on the radio.
The wonders of modern radio.

Lol! When I heard the interview, the first thing I thought to myself was, "Boy, it sounds like Brian is interviewing an intelligent person who knows what he's talking about. Did I pull up the wrong episode?"Ocelot55 wrote:Just listened to this. You come off much more well spoken and charismatic on the radio. Too bad you're not like that at all in person!
