Not a Pipe but Stellar Carving...

Post by ArtGuy »

I don't know if I have shown you guys this before or not? This a sculpted by an artist named Donald Judd and was carved from a single piece of white marble....

I thought since we happen to be people who carve things you guys might be able to appreciate it.

The undercuts on the buttons, the pocket, collar and pleat in the back blow me away. I saw some of these in a show in Atlanta a few years back. They absolutely fool you from as little as 15 feet away. You think they are shirts until you get right up on them and find that they are stone.
