New fella

Post by buster »

Hello everyone

I have never made a pipe in my life but I know that I will love it. So I need some suggestions on what equipment I should I get. I have been searching for a hobby for a little while now and I have a little money saved so let me have it. Thanks in advance for all the help and advise. :D

To start out: sandpaper, file, maybe a cheap sanding disk to chuck up into a hand drill. Start with a pre-drilled block.

I started (first 2 pipes) with prebored blocks. Used dremel, files, sandpaper, then stain and 0000 steel wool to finish.

A great collection of How-To's (including video) can be seen at http://www.tylerlanepipes.com/
