Hello all,

I just wanted to introduce my self here. I am new and started making pipes about a month ago. I've been a pattern maker now designer/ model maker for 35 years and find pipe making a great outlet for creativity.
One pipe has been so far but I have 250 blocks waiting for me to create.

Hope to have some good times talking with you all.

Part of the story is more interesting that the other. I have lived on my street for 10 years and durring that time I became friends with an elderly gentleman who alway had a pipe in his hand. When I started smoking pipe this winter and showed him my first pipe he told me he had 25 blocks he got in the 50's and 40 really cool old stems. He gave me the brier blocks and told me to make him a pipe with one he had picked out.

The other 225 pieces came from Greece. In the buisness I'm in I have some freind that work for our venders out of the US. One graciously went out and found a place to buy them from and shipped to the US for me.

Hopefully they won't be 250 pieces of scrap.
