I recently had a customer request a pipe for his son who is serving in Qatar.

He wanted a Patriotic/Military theme, so we settled on a Desert Camo. stem.

He also wanted Qatar 2012-13 and his boy's Company number laser engraved on the stummel.

I solicited on this site to find someone to do the laser engraving and Ken (OregonCustom) graciously offered to do the work for free for a soldier.

Well, he did a wonderful job. He worked with me to find the right font to use and he even had to order a new part so that his machine could accommodate the pipe.

The end result is that my customer got a great deal on a custom pipe for his soldier son. Thanks Ken!

I'm no big fan of fancy coloured stems, but this one I actually quite like!

The laser engraving is also really nice, and it looks like the perfect font to me!
