my shopping list

Post by bscofield »

I've recently had my pipe stuff open up there own money account (paypal) and I'm trying to get the hobbie to pay for itself. So i can actually make plans to buy stuff without freaking out my wife :D

Here's my current list:

1. Set of tiny hand files for shaping around the lip and in the slit.
2. More better wood
3. A Lathe
after a lathe would follow:
4. lathe bits
5. lathe chucks
6. rod stock...

sheesh! When does it stop!?!

What's on your list? (has this been asked?)

I've got to buy a digital camera to take pictures of pipes for my web page. I've been bumming cameras long enough. I never thought that making pipes would take me farther into the digital age....

A mating set of elephants that do well in captivity and shed their fully grown and well seasoned tusks every Spring. In addition to that I would love to get my hands on some more vulcanite plate. And I could use an employee. :) Oh yeah, and another sandblasting cabinet. That's all. I'm sure I'll think of more soon though.

Sounds like business is good for you. :D
Business is fine, but what I would like is someone who can remind me where I put that thing, or when I last changed that filter. I also have another line of pipes I've been producing (in small quantities at present) that I would love to have someone cut stems for. Maybe they should be Ultem . . . :D You need any work on the side?

Just wait a few years Todd. I'm sure that Cooper will be able to handle some of those tasks by the time he's 5. And I bet he'll work for less than minimum wage too!
