I'm an Idiot, how do I post photos?

I don't have a camera but my Son will take photos of My pipes. How do I post from the camera or do I need to upload to a photo sharing site? I looked thru the forum but haven't found this information. Thanks for any help, Norm

You need to use an online photo hosting service. Most are free. Photobucket is the one I use. This is what I do with Photobucket. Other sites will most likely be different in the details. Upload your pictures to the site you're using. Select the photo you want to post on here. In photobucket there'll be a box on the right hand side of the screen with different codes you can choose. Choose the IMG code. It should begin and end with these: [IMG]
Copy that code and paste it in your message here. I also find it handy to have two windows open at the same time one for here and one for photobucket.
Also, once you've done it once it'll seem easy from then on.
