This is my fourth pipe. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it, but I'd really like some constructive criticism from you guys (and gals). There are a few things that I'm not completely happy with, but I think it's better than my third, so I guess that's good...
Should I be leaving the rim so crisp or at least break that edge? I like the way it looks, but wonder if it will burn more easily like I have it.

Great job! Yes you're going to want to break the ridge around the chamber, if only a millimeter. Keep up the good work!

Number four?! The needle on my Raw Talent Detection Meter is jumping.
Definitely radius the chamber, if only a tiny bit. A razor edge there WILL often char from lighting. (A 1/2" wide strip of w/d 1000 a few turns on the end of your finger is enough.)
Now go make another!

I would do as George suggests.LatakiaLover wrote: Definitely radius the chamber, if only a tiny bit. A razor edge there WILL often char from lighting. (A 1/2" wide strip of w/d 1000 a few turns on the end of your finger is enough.)
Personally, I would have done a contrast stain to hide the small pits.

Thanks guys. I will definitely take care of the rim issue. I went back and forth on the stain choice due to the two little sand pits and finally settled on sticking with my original plan since they were small and inconspicuous. I just really wanted a light stain with the Cumberland stem... Those stupid pits showed up and went away about 15 times during the shaping process. Hopefully I'll have #5 to post soon!
