It has been three years since We lost Rainer Barbi. I comment on this since he was and is an inspiration to me and many others. Smoke one for him today. John

I saw a collection of his pipes at Chicago, and the owner allowed me to hold them. Truly marvelous pieces. He is greatly missed, even by I, who never met him.
