Morta Billiard
Billiard from morta I made week ago. Ebonite stem and 9mm filter chamber. Silver accent. I made photos before i polished the silver. What do you think about it? Any critique? https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/t1.0-9/988419_663609850341303_237411733_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-...
Re: №3/2014
This reminds me work of Kent Rasmussen, very similar shape work, and i think the same accent material

no, no no, its my first ebonite stem, i made a number of acrylic stems in past.D Marshall wrote:That is nice!, if that is your first hand cut stem you are doing great, that looks better than my first stem (actually it also looks better than my last stem), the rest of the pipe looks good too!

This pipe I had in my mind for a long time and I finally made it - oval shanked straight dublin Spanish briar, first ebonite stem!, no filter https://imageshack.com/scaled/medium/708/fbcq.jpg https://imageshack.com/scaled/medium/708/kokb.jpg https://imageshack.com/scaled/medium/268/w5cd.jpg https://...
Re: 1330, 31
i like them both, but somehow like the first one more, that red seems a bit weird to me, maybe its only on photos.

Re: Yeti Pipe #33- Turgulse
I was ready to say that extension is too long as uber, but after I measured it, its okay. IMO end of extension + flare are too thick, and it is causing that effect, if you would make it thinner it would look better, for me personally
Otherwise great pipe, like all of yours!

Re: lookin for billiard critique
hou, i allways understood that lenght of shank should be as lenght of whole stummel, so maybe theres a mistake, thats what i wanted to hear, next time i will make longer stem, and no taper shank, thank you guys

I am not able to do rustication, I would fear that i will spoil it. And I dont like rusticated pipes either. Only option for me is sandblast, but I havent find any sandblasting services around in my area
.
