You are viewing a metal lathe chuck that I had adapted specifically for tobacco pipe making. The chuck that I had adapted is the very same chuck in the link below:

It was created by Trent Rudat of Indiana. The adapted chuck features knurled jaws to hold briar and pins to accurately line up tobacco chambers and draught holes. It comes with the original key as well.
It has only seen about ten hours of use and I am selling it because I no longer make pipes. It works very well and is a huge asset to intermediate and advanced pipemaker's alike.
