2013 Christmas cheer on my front porch listening to the birds, crickets and cicadas.

McClelland's 5110 in a KY Briar bent egg. Sunday Baroque and an SO Dry Process Ethiopian espresso on the side, perfect pairing, especially with a hint of fall in the air. Contemplating the day's activities to include a bit of pipe making, a long walk, and watching Federer and Djokovic duke it out this afternoon... Sunday mornings are fantastic!

Hello, it's been quite a few years since I've been in this forum. I've had an illness that kept me from this hobby that I love some so much but all that matters is that I'm back and it's good to be back.

I went by my local shop here in Austin and much to my surprise they had w two oz tin of Penzance! A couple of years ago this stuff was hard to com by! Is it more readily available now? I currently have two pounds of this stuff aging and it has beautiful sugar crystals forming but I don't want to disturb it's slumber so I decided to buy the two oz and enjoy that so I can keep aging my stash. I also bought a tin of Chelsea Morning and I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed with it. Not giving up on it just yet though.

So what have I missed? What are some new releases that have come out within the past three years that are essential to get my hands on? I enjoy all blends but prefer non aromatic but I do enjoy a good aro from time to time, especially and English/aromatic crossover.

Looking forward to hearing back from you guys.

GL Pease has released a few really good blends lately. Sixpence is good. I mainly watch for new Virginias or Vapers, Seattle Pipe Club has a few new ones as well.

Ok this is my first time trying pipe smoking, I really enjoy it. I know it isn't exotic or unique but I am smoking the Lane limited 1Q and I really enjoy it. Just ordered some Central Park stroll, harvest on Hudson, lane limited bc-a and autumn evening. Very excited! I also for the first time ever tasted the smoke, it took a few bowls but man, is it ever wonderful. Pipe smoking will be a regular part of my life now!

If you're in Spokane, you're lucky to have Tobacco World at the old Flour Mill. They rotate through a variety of high quality tinned and bulk tobaccos in addition to all the usual aromatics. Also, they have 1Q and BCA in bulk, just ask them which ones they are. Man, I miss that place.
