I'm in the USMC and have been since 98. I'm done touring overseas and have more free time on my hands. I've always had an affinity for wood working. I've been a pipe smoker since I was about 15 even my grand father gave me my first pipe. I'm learning slowly the process of making a quality pipe by the forum and YouTube videos. You professionals do a great job and all your work is amazing. Hopefully when I get out I can be good enough to make quality pipes...

Re: New to making pipes
Howdy, Bruce
There are a few Navy guys and some dogs running around here, but don't pay 'em any attention. I've already thanked 'em for letting us ride in their boats and cleaning things up when we're finished kicking ass, but it isn't enough, apparently. They still make noise. Oh well.
Enjoy your pipe making journey. Lots to learn, lots of fun to be had.

UFOs must be real. There's no other explanation for cats.

Welcome Bruce! I'm one of the old swab jockeys that LL is making snide remarks about. He's just jealous. He was only good for a sea anchor.
