Hello guys
This is the first bulldog I've made, and i think it came out pretty good!
Just wanted to share it with you. The white ring is camel bone.
As always, comments and critique are welcome
Have a great weekend!

Very nice!
It does appear to me that the shank has a little bit of 'belly' and and the top line of the shank curves slightly upward in the profile, but that would be the very devil to straighten with a diamond shank.
Especially good job on a first.

The bottom line of the shank doesn't look straight. Your lines on the cheeks under the bowl aren't crisp. The bottom two sides of the shank should be flat all the way past the cheeks.

That may be technically true for the bottom sides of the shank but I sure like the looks better when it doesn't.sandahlpipe wrote:The bottom line of the shank doesn't look straight. Sanding scratches all over the bowl man, come on! That's at "resand and stain again" stage, not "okay it's done I'll wax it".
Shaping is pretty good, little wobbles in the shank and I find the bowl a little top-heavy. A little more chin gives a bulldog a more aggressive appearance.

For a first bullie, pretty decent!
One other small thing that looks a bit off to me: I would personally rather taper the stem from the shank through to the bit, than what you did. But that's me.
