I'm currently working on this billiard and wanted to post and hopefully get some feedback before I continue. Some areas I can see from the pics immediately but would still appreciate any advice.
I'm using 220 grit at the moment and I'm trying to emulate this Sasieni. My attempt is a bit taller.
Thank you in advance.
Hope this helps, I know it is a rough edit but maybe it will shed some insight. Especially the excess wood on back of the bowl at the bowl/shank junction. I struggle with that area as well, always keep in mind that the front and back of the bowl must be identical.
Your transition looks much better.
When viewed from the bottom, the bowl looks out of round, but that is hard to tell with the lighting.
Your stem duck bills a bit, if you notice that Sasieni has pretty straight lines on the stem.
Looking better.

All in all, much better,
There is still a little “flare” of the stem from the shank to the button which doesn’t look right. Even with a fish tail, the sides of the stem and shank (as seen from the top) should be at least parallel. The flare for the fish tail should occur in the last 30-40% of the stem. This observation may be affected by the shadow caused by your flash. A couple of lights with some sort of filter (thin material between the bulb and object ) would help eliminate shadows.
The internals of the funnel and slot could also be smoothed and shaped to provide a more finished appearance and more easily cleanable surface. PM me for details on how I am doing that.
