for some reason i cannot upload my advatar? never had a problem resizing pics etc. how do i do it

The moderators let him use Sas's old avatar... special privilliges... some get them some don't. I think he had to buy Kurt a few tins of his favorite tobacco or something like that

I also had to sacrifice a tiger to Sasquatch. He needs that tiger blood to make a decent pipe.

A bit of actual assistance: Uploading your avatar on this forum can sometimes be a pain because you have to resize until it fits within 11kb and 80X80. That's pretty durn small. So you either re-size your image until it fits, or you find another image. Other than that, the process is pretty self explanatory.

There is an internet site (that I can't remember now) that will take any picture you have and resize it specifically to be used as an avatar.

I'll bet you can find it if you spend some time on Google.

That's such a great book. Between Snow Crash and Neuromancer, those two boys really got ahold of a possible future. Quite incredible.

Yeah, Snow Crash is one of my favorites... I'm actually rereading it right now. Not sure how likely it is that I'll ever have a nuclear powered robot dog though.
