That is waaaaaay cool!
First off, I think this is the first olive wood pipe I've ever seen that I liked.
Second, your choice of stem material is inspired for this pipe.

Yep, I've been on the fence with the different colored "cumberland" ebonite stems. The application has to be just right for it to work for me. This stem works perfect with the olivewood. Very nicely done.

Great pipe!
I agree with you Wayne, I love to use some of the colored cumberland myself. But, I just can't seem to find the right combination. Maybe I'll try to get some pointers from Nate.

Hi Nate,
yes, that's the way the cooky should crumble,the grain flows all the way from head to toe underlining the shape beautifully!
