Massis- Do you know if Vincent does Cigars too? If so, I would totally be down with a box if they aren't crazy expensive. My husband has been keeping up on this and would love to put some in his humidor.

He does cigars, cigarillo's, pipe tobaccco and last but not least: bouchons. Those are basicly small conical fat sigars which you smoke in your pipe (while they stick out a couple of inches).

if you want real Semois, you need Vincent Manil's. He has the best Semois there is.

I don't smoke the stuff myself, but I might be of some assistance as I live in Belgium. If Vincent is reluctant to ship to the US, I can always act as a mailbox

If need be, I might make it a daytrip and go pick up the group order in the Semois Valley, it's only 2 hours away... If I can convince the wife that is. But if the weather is ok, that shouldn't be too much of a problem

Also, I know how to do the math in EUR to USD (and vice versa), know how to work with grams and kilograms and I speak French (like vincent Manil).


Manil's website isn't very elaborate, but contains some info.
For instance, these are the different sizes of tobacco pouches:

His "Pur Semois" (the real stuff ) comes in fine and coarse cut pouches of 100 gr (3.52 oz) and 250gr (8.81 oz).

I would be down with 250 grams if you could pull this off. And I would chip in towards your petrol too

what are bouchons? I saw them in a box but didn't see them in the products pages. they do look cool are they cigars? are they made to be put in pipes?

A) I will need to ship to a single US address. Each shipment to the USA costs $42 minimum
B) I'm not sure about the daytrip yet, but as far as I've heard, Vincent ships to Belgium without problems, even before receiving his payment!

I only smoke the bouchons , and even those very rarely. The real semois, I think it tastes like dry gras...

Scottie I resent the implications of your post, and furthermore suggest that if I am entrusted with this task not only will I make sure all of the tobacco is properly packaged and sent out immediately, I will also taste each and every package to make sure it is good enough for all of you

okay im only in if this is the real stuff from vincent like stated before. david, i paid ~$37 for 200grams but would also like to add a box of the bouchons (which are too cool) to my order. if massis is doing the day trip and your passing it out, everything will fall into place.

Massis, I'll get back in touch with him to inquire about shipping to an address in Belgium. Could you PM me the address I should give him for a quote?

Everyone, I am 100% down with being the US address/distributor for this order.

Also, I heard back from Xavier Martin and his shipping rates are very reasonable.

I'll get everything tallied up (I'm using a spreadsheet to do the math, now ) and ask Manil. Will update as soon as I've got those details!
