Pipes for sale ?

I have noticed that there are just not many pipes offered for sale on this forum. Or at the very least, with little frequency. Is there a reason for that? Is it poor form or are most of these pipes sold in a private retail setting?

Don't pay attention to Ryan and his smart ass remarks.
This forum is where pipe maker share ideas and the process of pipe making.
Virtually everyone here has a web presence and you are more than welcome to visit their site and purchase something they have crafted. I'd be more than pleased if you purchased one of my pieces from my web site!!!

Anyone ever seen the movie "The Goods"? A "Dealer to Dealer Lot Sale" happens at the end of the movie. Great movie. Watch it and tell me if you can't find a pipemaker to fit every character!

I don't make enough pipes to try and sell them on here. Besides, most of the guys and one girl here, if they would want a pipe I made, they could just copy it and get it free. This is, of course, theoretical, since no one has ever copied my pipes yet.
