My number ten

Post by sprangalang »

Well this is my tenth one! What fun. This was an end cut from a small burl, I was intending to show more plateau, but it got removed during shaping- doh.
The cleft was a branch protrusion. I think it will be ok when smoking, it is not a crack really, but a cavity. I could spend more time on the stem, I know. I may experiment more with the stain too, got some new dyes coming. Comments welcome.

Cool! I likes. Fear not the flagrant flaw, incorporate it. It really gives the pipe character.

Nice stem! I like the big gouge in there. It really does add character.
