It isn't a show that features pipemakers too much, it's evolved into more of an estate bonanza event these days, but it's always fun. Lots of room action, bedspread layouts, social meet-ups, and so forth. (Room smoking is permitted on several floors). There are also a number of decent restaurants within walking distance.
Any other PFers addicted to these things? (I've been hitting them for 25 years )
UFOs must be real. There's no other explanation for cats.
I usually go to the Gateway show. I don't usually do very well there because, as you said, it's more of an estate pipe swap but it's always a good time and one of the few shows you can still smoke in the exhibit hall. That said, I don't know if I'll have anything to lay down on a table so I'm a maybe this year.
I'll be there. I love the St. Louis show! It's a lot of fun, with smoking in the show itself and all. I usually sell a few and have a fantastic time in the process...

George are you saying you'll be there?
That's the plan. I started this thread because I always discover after a show how many online people I missed, so promise myself I'll do something like this thread next time... and then forget.
This time I remembered.
Please flag me down if we cross paths:

I'm pretty sure I saw you at the post office the other day !
On the wall, with a Hotline to call....
Too bad I won't be at the show, I could use some reward money.

Ok, but I expect you to look exactly like that picture.
No worries, I haven't changed much... It was taken at last year's St. Louis show, in fact.
Yeah right, George. Tell the truth.....you are really 5'3" and weigh 300+ and have a black handlebar mustach............................................never mind, I'm thinking about my sister
I won't be able to make it. I hope to hit almost all the shows next year. Trying to find a way to swing Vegas though
Am I Calamity Jane or Annie Oakley??...depends on the day. www.ladybriar.com
